Hansemuseum Lübeck
In the north of Lübeck's old town island, the European Hansemuseum is the product of a merger between the old Castle Friary and a modern museum complex. The world's prime location for Hanse history was inaugurated in 2015. As a precursor to our modern conception of the economy, the Hanse still influences the politics, economy and society of the European continent today. The topic is explained and illustrated for a wide audience in a variety of exhibitions and programmes.

KOLK 17. Puppet Theatre & Museum
An extraordinary transformation is currently underway in Lübeck's picturesque old town street Kolk: The listed merchant's houses, which are home to the puppet theatre and the theatre puppet museum, are being extensively renovated.
